Henley Decorators Ltd

Another sunny day, another lovely client!

We’re super happy at Hello Henley. We were already big fans of Henley Decorators Ltd, and had always eyeballed their excellent paint jobs as we meandered around town. And now, we’ve been asked to get creative for them on Facebook and Instagram. We’re happy, they’re happy – and did we mention that the sun is still shining?!

Oh hello again, Marlow FM!

It seems like only yesterday we were at Marlow FM with Alistair Cooper MW talking all things grapes | booze | music with the lovely Mary Flavelle.

Yesterday we popped back there with another of our clients – Ian Reid (from Reids of Henley). Reids have recently opened a new store on West Street in Marlow (in addition to their flagship shop in Henley-on-Thames) and Hello Henley have been asked to raise their Brand Awareness. It was a great team effort, and we love working with Ian and the team at Reids. If you’d like to listen to Ian talking about his love of cars | music | his family then you absolutely can! Wrap your ears around Mid Morning Matters here (from 01.35.00):

New Client: Black Swan Bridal Studio

I’m on a bit of a dizzy high. My senses are totally gazebo’d by the absolute exquisite wonderfulness of the Black Swan Bridal Studio. Located by the river in Wallingford, in a beautiful boathouse – here you’ll find owner, Chloe Jeffs, surrounded by a plethora of gob-smackingly stunning bridal gowns. We’re talking Alice Temperley, Karen Willis Holmes and Gemy Maalouf.

I’m totally hankering a try on before disappearing through a magic door, in some kind of Mr Benn fashion. I can confirm Chloe does not wear a fez or live in a 70s cartoon.

I was at The Black Swan Bridal Studio today not because I am getting married (sorry, mum). It was with my Hello Henley hat firmly on. Chloe has asked me to do a Social Media Audit on two of her Social Media Platforms. I’m incredibily excited to be working with such a brilliant business.

Feel free to get in touch if you wish to book your initial consultation for a Social Media Audit. I look forward to hearing from you.  You can contact me via FB, Twitter, LinkedIn, email – a good old fashioned telephone call will also do the trick: 07930 441820

Another new client for Hello Henley

I’m very excited to let you all in on a little secret! We’re currently working with Debbie Page of Yellow Shed Pottery to help rebrand her Social Media Platforms and build a WordPress Site. I’ll be sure to let you know when it is all finished.

In the meantime, check out her beautiful work:

New Client – Home Move Consultants

Exciting news, once again! Hello Henley has an awesome new client – The Home Move Consultants. This fantastic little project is run by Debbie and Charlotte, who I enjoy meeting for tea as much as I enjoy working on their social media. That’s A LOT btw.  These lovely ladies are your official @homemovegurus (twitter) – and what they don’t know about moving people out of one gorgeous house and into another just isn’t worth knowing. We’re talking high-end / luxury lifestyle – and we are thrilled to be working on their Social Media – plus their PR and copywriting for their membership to The Luxury Network.

Check out their website! It was designed by local chap, Ben Hargreaves (who is also pretty cool – and more of a beer drinker than a tea drinker. Suits me!)

Don’t be scared of getting it wrong.

We are strong believers that sometimes you need to get things wrong to get things right.  And until you start you’ll never know you’re getting it right. Never has something applied so directly than to that of Social Publishing. Recently 4 out of 5 of our clients Social Media was performing. But one wasn’t. We were left scratching our heads. But THEN, we had that Eureka! moment (that can happen to creatives a lot). A spin on the heel and a change of tack. And now we’re there.

And there endeth today’s lesson.

New Client – Glade End Guest House

We’d like to offer a very warm welcome to the wonderful Glade End Guest House. When lovely Lily contacted Hello Henley for a cuppa and chat we were over the moon. What a great addition to the Hello Henley portfolio. First things first, we needed to have a good chat and work out exactly what Lily wanted to achieve from her social media. How did she want it to help her business and where did she feel she was going wrong?

We decided between us that a complete overhaul was in order. Facebook needed some attention and a more uniformed look. It also needed some behind the scenes tweaks and analytical understanding. So, in short. A visit to Glade End Guest House, a photo shoot and a good few days focusing on Twitter, Insta and Facebook and we are happy to say everything is looking tickety-boo. Going forward Lily wanted Hello Henley to put together a Social Publishing Package that was within budget, but one that would also make Glade End visible in the busy online world of social media. We’re looking forward to working with Lily and Glade End for the foreseeable future.

Marvellous Marlow

Here’s a tale of woe for you. As a child I spent my weekends being transported between Henley (where my mother lived) and Marlow (where my father lived). My mother worked in Henley, and my father owned a bookshop in Marlow. I mentioned woe, that was just to get your attention. It’s all cool. Anyway, both towns factor pretty high on my ‘love’ list. Which is why I am here to officially tell you that I can also offer the services of Hello Henley to small businesses in Marlow. We already look after Reids of Henley, who have recently opened on West Street. www.reidsofhenley.co.uk

We will also be working with the Glade End Guest House in Marlow very soon. www.gladeend.co.uk

Why not get in touch and we could meet for a cuppa at Coopers!

Little Black Book

Hello Henley has a bulging little black book full of local Henley contacts. If you have ever fancied being paired up with another business (particularly any of our clients) then talk to us – we’ll hook you up.

If you wish to be added to Hello Henley’s Little Black Book – a contact list of services and products in the Henley-on-Thames / Marlow area then please do connect on LinkedIn.
